Hey I just wanted to let everyone know that I am going to have a party at my house on Friday Feb. 4th from 2-5 for some cute workout clothes. EVERYTHING HERE IS 50% or MORE OFF!!

I have some of their running tanks and long sleeved running tops and I have to say that I LOVE them! The tanks are longer so they dont "RIDE" up and they don't chafe. They also have yoga pants/capris and comfy gym wear. If you have any teen daughters or Husbands (yes there is mens gear too)that like to work out they will love it to!

And he's already 3 weeks old! Isaac Ray Simkins joined our family on August 15 and we couldn't be happier! He was 7lb 2oz and was 21inches long. Everything went so smooth with the delivery and Isaac is getting big and doing so well! Of course our camera was dead when Justin pulled it out to take some pictures so once I get some from our family I'll post some along with some new ones. Owen and Eli have been so good with their new baby brother and so far we've adjusted well to 3.

Lake Powell

We just got home from spending a week in Lake Powell with our family. We look forward to this trip every year and it didn't disapoint! I wasn't sure how it would be for me being 37 weeks pregnant but I didn't give birth so it was a successful trip! Owen and Eli had soooo much fun with all of their cousins and were quite the little water dogs!

Half Marathon

Me and a couple of friends and sister-in-laws just ran the Hurricane Half. We had so much fun! I didn't know how well I would do being so pregnant but I'm happy to say I Finished! It was so great to get away with our friends, lay out by the pool and relax (with no kids), and eat out lots along with the race!

Our most exciting news lately......... If you haven't heard baby #3 is on it's way! Also, we found out it's another BOY! Truthfully, I was a little sad at first in hopes for a girl but after it sank in I've been really excited about it! Our only problem now is names! Boy names are soooo hard for us so hopefully we can come up with something!

We've been trying to keep ourselves busy lately to pass the time in hopes of Spring. This last weekend we went down to Parowan to spend some time with Justin's family at his Grandma's house. Our kids love it down there and we are always sad to come home!

Eli is constantly finding himself food to eat, searching out a diet coke to chug down, or causing trouble. He keeps us busy and entertained!

We took the kids swimming in St George. Owen is normally a nervous nelly but he couldn't get enough of the big slides. He has so much fun with his cousins!

Owen has mastered riding a big boy bike. He is so proud of himself and wants to show anyone and everyone his new skill!

Owen started Lacross this month and has had so much fun playing it with his cousins Jack and Jamison. We've had a few melt downs but for the most part he has done really well and has had a blast.

Eli of course has to be right in the middle of all the action........

Hardware Ranch

We went up with Justin's Family to Hardware Ranch and went on the sleigh ride. The kids loved seeing the elk so close.

Christmas & Birthday..

These pictures are in such a random order, but here is our December in a nutshell.
We had a great Christmas this year and I can officially say I am depressed it's all over! We loved being able to spend time with family, eat, and lay around enjoying the season! We stayed at my moms this year and luckily Santa found us there. The boys got way to much and have spent hours playing with all their fun new things!

Eli loved his Tonka truck. The kids pushed him around in it all morning!

On Christmas Eve at my parents they have a little talent show where the kids are welcome to share anything they want with us all. Unfortunatly my kids had nothing to contribue but they enjoyed watching all the cousins.

Owen LOVES dogs. He would not let go of poor carmelo.

Here's my cute Grandpa and Eli. Eli is such a funny kid and his laugh is sooo contagious!

The cousins all had a snowball fight and Owen had a blast.

My Dad and Grandpa Hooked up the Horses and Sleigh and took us all on a ride. It was freezing cold but the kids had so much fun.

Last but not least.........Eli Turned ONE! This year has gone by so fast. Eli wasn't interested in all the presents but he sure loved cake! I've never seen a kid shove it in his mouth so quick. I should be sad that he's grown up so quick, but I'm not.....I love this stage.....He is so fun and Eli and Owen play together so well!

An Update?!

Owen just turned 3 and thinks he is sooooo big! He was really excited for his birthday and couldn't wait for all his cousins to come and sing to him.

I think we sang and he blew out the candel aboout 10 times! He tries so hard not to smile.....

Eli is so much fun lately! He is such a fireball and keeps us on our toes. He is always getting in trouble and Owen is right behind him saying "Eli that is not FUNNY, Mom is so mad right now!"

Owen got his first black eye. He thought it was great. I wish I would have taken a picture when it happened cause it is almost gone here. I think Justin was jealous....he's always wanted one!

Eli is such an eater so you can only imagine his excitement when owen dumped out his trick or treat goods. He could hardly stand it!

Owen went trick or treating with Lily. He wanted to go "until the sun comes up!" :)

WE ALWAYS SPEND LABOR DAY WEEKEND DOWN AT JUSTINS GRANDMAS IN PAROWON. WE LOVE IT DOWN THERE AND SO DO THE KIDS! OVER LABOR DAY THEY ALWAYS HAVE A PARADE AND A CARNIVAL THAT THE KIDS LOVE. HERE WE ALL ARE...

THE KIDS ALL HAD SO MUCH FUN AT THE CARNIVAL.

OWEN ATE AN ENTIRE BAG OF COTTON CANDY. BETWEEN THAT AND SPINNEY RIDES I DON'T KNOW HOW HE WASN'T SOOOO SICK!

JUSTIN WASN'T AS LUCKY! HE WENT ON ONE RIDE AND CAME OF GREEN! HE WAS SICK THE REST OF THE DAY!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST....OWEN LEARNED HOW TO RIDE A PEDAL BIKE ALL BY HIMSELF!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! WE GOT HIM THAT STRIDER BIKE THAT HE CRUISES AROUND ON AND I THINK THAT HELPED ALOT! JUSTIN JUST PUT HIM ON TO SEE WHAT HE WOULD DO AND HE DID IT!

Lake Powell

We just got home from Lake Powell. We look forward to go every year with Justin's family and are so depressed the weeks allready over! We decided to leave Eli home this year which was kinda sad but we had so much fun spending time with Owen.

My sister-in-law got the little kids these little "boats" that they loved cruising around on.

We ate at Stans in Hanksville and the kids got these animal masks. They loved them and would not take them off.

Here we are going crack swimming. It totally freaks me out!!!

Owen skiied all by his self this year. I was so excited he did it!! It is so funny to me to watch all these little kids ski....they look sooooo tiny behind the boat!

We all went to rainbow bridge this year. I had never been before so it was fun to go and see.

SAN DIEGO!!

We had such a fun trip!!! We took the boys and went with Derrek and Adrienne to San Diego. We had a blast going to Sea World, the Wild Animal Park, and the San Diego Zoo. I am such a kid at heart, I think I was more excited to see Shamu, the zoo, and dolphins as much as Owen. We were there I think the best week ever. The weather was perfect 70's all week and the parks weren't busy at all!

When we first got there we went to Coronodo which was beautiful. These are pictures of us at the Del which is such a cool Hotel that is right on the beach.

The Wild Animal Park was so much fun! It was way better than the zoo. We took a safari tour that takes you out and around this huge field that has tons of animals out roaming together like in the wild.

They had this petting area where you could get food and feed animals. Owen loved it!

The Zoo was alot of fun. Owen loved the turtles and Polar Bears there. It's always fun to see the Panda's but they were sleeping and hard to see.

We all had a bad addiction to Churros while we were there. We had at least 2 everyday the whole week!!

I seriously struggle at keeping up to date on this blog so here is a bunch of pictures of things we did this month.

Owen, Isabelle and Jack

We went to the Utes Red and White game with Kori and Jeff. It was absolutely freezing but still way fun!

Owen loves the barn and the horses and has so much fun helping Great Grandpa Hillam pick up the poop.

Eli turned 5 months old and is getting so big. He has such a happy little personality and has been so fun to have around!

We went down to St. George with all of Justin's family. There was a tennis court which held some intense matches and a swimming pool thats temp was 101 (it actually felt nice since we picked the one weekend St George had a cold front moving through). We always have such a fun time when we all get together.

We went to this park in St George that was pretty fun. It had some really different toys that I think were more entertaining for the adults than the kids.

Justin and I went to Vegas with our friends Tyson and Megan and we had a great time. It was so nice to get away, without kids, and hang out with such a fun couple! We went to the show La Rev at the Wynn and I thought it was really good. We did some shopping at some of the best outlets we've been to. I lost 40 bucks in 5 min cause I really believed that I was going to win millions and I had planned out exactly what I was going to do with my winnings. We ate lots of good food..layed out by the pool....and are now hoping we can all go again real soon and do it all over again!

Here we are at Serendipity. It was the cutest place I have ever been not to mention it had some amazing Frozen hot chocolate!

Owen is obsessed with taking Eli's binki in and out. He usually grabs it out with his mouth and thinks he is sooo funny. I don't think Eli thinks it's funny...

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend. Linda had everyone over and the kids had a blast coloring eggs, hunting for eggs and going for a scavenger hunt.

Easter morning was so fun! We were lucky enough to have Owens cousin Jack sleep over the night before and they thought easter and the easter bunny were great!

We started the weekend off by hitting baby animal days. Other than being way over crowded it was fun. All the kids (but Owen, he won't preform under pressure :)) did the stick horse race and Loved it. Libbie even took 3rd over all the boys and everything.

And of course Owen had to spend some time at my parents riding horses. He is so funny, he was scared to death of all the tiny baby animals at baby animal days but he wants to ride this giant horse all day everyday!

Here's a couple pictures of Owen on his bike. He is doing so good on it. He goes pretty fast and is starting to lift his legs and glide.

Today we had and early Easter party at my parents house and the kids had such a fun time. My mom put together a scavenger hunt for the big kids and Owen and his cousin Carlee had a little easter egg hunt of their own.

I've really been slacking lately at keeping up on my blog but even though things have been busy we haven't been very exciting. One thing I am happy to announce is that as of last friday Owen is potty trained!! Yaaaay!! I know it's still kind of eairly to be too excited but he hasn't had one accident and has been dry every morning! It's been a great start and I hope that he keeps it up! Here are a few pictures of thing we have done this month. We can't wait for summer to come so we can get out more and do more fun things!

My cute niece Libby had her first softball game. We all went down to watch and she did great!

We went to Disney on Ice with our friends Tyson and Megan. It was so much fun. I wasn't sure how Owen was going to like it because we haven't really watched many Disney movies we are more into the Pixar stuff but he loved it!! He keeps telling me he wants to go back to Disneyland....

Owen is the biggest cowboy! He loves horses! He has about 10 (including the one he's on which he thinks is his) and they are all named China. Wherever we go can't forget to take one of his China horses and he has to have his cowboy boots on.

Eli's Blessing Day

We blessed Eli on Sunday and it was such a great day! Justin did such a wonderful job and Eli was perfect. We loved having all of our family and friends over after (we always love an excuse for a party!) and wanted to thank all those who came! .....Is something we are constantly saying around our house! Owen cannot seem to leave Eli alone! He is such a good helper and is really loving Eli but his constant sucking face with him is driving me crazy! I can't help but laugh though cause Owen will look at me all serious and say "just one more kiss marc"(yes he thinks it's funny to call me Marc or Marci like "Daddy does")

Eli Stuart Simkins

He is finally here (well a week ago, I am a little slow at posting!)!! Eli was born last Saturday morning at 6:30. He was 6lbs 15oz and was 20 inches long. Everything went so well and we are all doing great! At first Owen didn't really want anything to do with me or the baby but he has been so good and loves his little brother "baby Eli"!

I havn't posted a ton about my pregnancy but it is officially going to be coming to an end so I thought I would give an update. I went to my doctor for the last time last week and I am so glad to be done with the "weigh in's"!! :)
My body just doesn't seem to do what it's supposed to naturally so I am going in on friday to get started!!! Yaaaayyyyy!!!
I'm not sure if Owen really understands that we are literally going to be bringing a baby home but he gets so excited when you ask him about baby Eli and he keeps telling everyone that he is coming in a week and that he is nice. I am excited to see how he is going to be with him.
We can't wait for Eli to finally be here and we will be sure to keep everyone posted!

Happy Thanksgiving & Happy Birthday...

This year we had Thanksgiving at my parents house. Everyone on my side came except my two brothers who live out of state. The kids all had a fun time playing cards, riding bikes, and playing football. The guys all took naps and watched football, and of course we ate ate ate!

Owen just turned 2 and his birthday happened to be the day before the big Utah Byu game (GO UTES!!!). We decided to combine the two and Party. We had a bunch of friends come over for dinner and the big game and had a cake for Owen for his B-Day.

We had to have a UofU cake and this is as good as it gets! I had made one the night before and decided to put it in the oven so it would stay good for the next day. Well.......I woke up eairly to bake some cookies for the party, turned on the oven and proceeded to make my cookies. When I went to put in the first batch of cookies I found a completely melted and burnt mess all over the inside of my oven. Needless to say I had to hurry and make another one and unfortunaly it didn't look near as nice as the first one.......Oh well you just eat it right??

Navi is so cute!! She brought the football things you put under your eyes for her and Owen. They looked so cute. Navi was so good and kept them on the whole time...I think Owens lasted about an hour. Navi is always so cute with Owen and brought him a soccer goal for his birthday which he loves (Thank You Navi!!).

Finally a new Post..

I am so far behind on blogging! October was a busy month and has just flown by! The first week of October Owen and I went with my parents to Vegas to visit my brother and had a great time. We got babysitters and went the Cirque Du Soleil show "KA" and it was amazing!!!
About a week after I got home from Vegas I went with Justin's Mom and sisters to Palm Springs for a girls trip (of course I forgot my camera so I'll have to get some pictures from them to post later). We had a blast!! Lots of laying out......shopping......eating.......and laying out! Even though I missed Owen and Justin it was so nice to some relaxing time before the baby comes. We are getting really excited for the baby and I can't believe we only have a month left. I am on weekly appointments and next week they will do another ultrasound and give me a day that I can get started.

Today we went to the elephant parade down at the gateway. The circus just came to town so they have a parade with all the elephants, clowns, llama's, horses etc. It was the best parade ever cause it only lasted 10 minutes but was still entertaining for the kids!

So Owen has a serious candy and pop addiction that we struggle with daily! The first thing he says when he wakes up is "Boones" (which is a gas staion near by we visit often) followed by "POP" (he knows thats what we get at Boones) and he can't comprehend why he has to eat breakfast and drink milk and can't have pop and candy!!

We have a daily rutine that involves Owen climbing up on the counter to get some candy out of the jar followed by me telling him no more candy and quickly taking it away! Well.....I couldn't find him the other day and when I finally did this is what I saw. He had sneaked a handful of candy and made a run for it. He hid himself in our closet behind the clothes and quietly opened and ate all his candy! How can you get mad at that?? I had to just laugh!

We found out today that we are having another BOY!! We are so excited and it will be so fun for Owen to have a little partner in crime! The only problem it that we have such a hard time thinking of boy names!! We can't wait and are way excited to be having another little boy!!

We had such a fun 4th of July weekend. We went boating, to the fish farm (followed by a delicious fish fry), and of course fireworks! Owen loved sparklers and the awesome firework display put on at Grandpa and Grandma Simkins.

We went out boating on the forth and Owen had such a fun time with his cousins! He loves the water and can't get enough of the boat. Our little nieces and nephews are getting so good on the wakeboard, and Lily who is just a few months older than Owen got up and skiied so well! Owen tried skiing for the first time (unfortunately I don't have any pictures) but he started crying and wouldn't stand up, he just held on to the rope and drug behind the boat. Maybe by the end of Lake Powell he'll be a pro! ;)

Sorry I havn't posted forever. I lost my camera charger memorial weekend. Thanks to ebay I just recieved my new charger and here are all the pictures from our fun memorial weekend at Justin's Grandmas House.

We finally decided to cut Owen's hair. It was getting so shaggy and cute but he was sweating to death! It was a sad day when we cut it off. So Owen wasn't feeling the greatest the other day and I decided that it must be a guy thing because he totally knows how to milk it! Doesn't it seem like whenever guys get sick they need to be catered to and are way to sick to even function? (Maybe its just the two boys in my house!!)He would sit on the couch and act soooo sick and the second he got what he wanted he had this little smirk on his face. He must of been so tired though because right in the middle of playing he just crashed in the middle of the floor for a little snooze which never ever happens.

So Owen has started to take his first steps. He has been walking along furniture for along time now, but all of a sudden he has decided to let go and walk. He can only take like 5-10 steps before falling, but it is always so exciting when they start doing new things for the first time. I tried to get some picture of him in action but this is as good as I could get.

Here is Owen in his Ute hat. I think he looks so dang cute in it! Owen also just got this rocking horse. It is so funny, it moves its head and tail and makes noises, but Owen has been completely freaked out by it. We finally got him to sit on it but as you can see he will not touch it!! anything with fur he will not touch, and if he does its with one finger.

So Owen started sucking his toes today, I know its kinda gross, but it is way to cute to stop. I don't know if you can tell by these pictures but we also just buzzed his head. His hair had grown over his ears. I have a bunch of before and after pics of his haircut and our recent boating trip I will post soon. Owen is allready 7 1/2 months old and is starting to get into everything. He started crawling a few weeks ago and is now on the go. If he spots a soda on the other side of the room he is on a mad dash and if he gets a hold of it it's quite the fight to get it away. We've had alot going on lately and I have a lot of pictures to post to catch up.

Owen and I flew to Nauvoo last week to visit his Grandma and Grandpa Stuart. They were so excited to see him, and he was pretty excited to see them too. Nauvoo had so many fun and neat things to see and we had a fun week hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa.
